As we continue to Break the Circuit, this is for those that have been hit hard.
At Nando’s, we believe that food is about more than just nourishing the body, it also fires-up the soul. Through this Free Support Meals program, it is our little way of taking care of those who are vulnerable or in need, to get through this tough period together as one community. And there’s no better way to do this other than doing what we do best: serving up PERi-PERi Chicken.
Throughout 11 May to 1 June 2020, we’re setting aside 300 free Support Meals for people who have been severely impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and need a meal during this difficult time, and we hope that we can make someone’s day that bit easier.
We will be partnering with welfare organisations to reach vulnerable communities. If you work for a welfare organisation and want to coordinate meals for a community in need, please reach us at peri-peri@nandos.com.sg
The Support Meals will be also available for takeaway collection at all our six restaurants daily for those who have lost their jobs or livelihoods due to COVID-19 and need help putting food on the table.
- Collections from our restaurants are available from 2:30pm to 5:30pm daily, for takeaway only.
- To try and reach as many people as possible, it will be one meal per person, with no more complicated terms and conditions – just a sincere appeal that only those who are truly in need of a meal step forward.
So help spread the word, and let’s make it count!
Together, let’s #KeepTheFlameBurning with the power of PERi-PERi and stand #SGUnited!
When is this available?
This program runs daily from 11 May till the end of Circuit Breaker on 1 June 2020. Collection is from 2:30pm to 5:30pm, first come first serve, while stocks last. Reservations ahead are not allowed.
Who is eligible to collect the Support Meals from the restaurants?
The meals are for people who have lost their jobs or livelihoods because of COVID-19 and need help at mealtimes. To allow for the support to reach as many beneficiaries as possible, we sincerely ask that only those who are truly in need come forward.
A portion of the meals will also be allocated to support welfare organisations to reach vulnerable communities such as at-risk families, the elderly, and the disabled. If you work for a welfare organisation and would like to coordinate meals for a community in need, please email us at peri-peri@nandos.com.sg
How many Support Meals are available?
I’ve lost my job, how can I collect a Support Meal?
For collection, simply ask for a “Support Meal” at our door.
As health and safety remains our priority, we strictly adhere to the safe-distancing measures put in place, and seek everyone’s cooperation to the measures. Queuing is strictly prohibited to prevent crowding.
Should there be overwhelming response, we will take your name at the door to secure your redemption. While we cook and prep the meal, please take a walk around the mall to avoid crowding at our entrance and return for collection at the time as advised by our Host.
Where are the free support meals available?
Aside from the meals reserved and delivered to welfare organisations, takeaway meal collections are available at all 6 of our restaurants. Find us at:
- Bugis Junction #01-85
- Plaza Singapura #04-10
- Tanglin Mall #01-14
- Tampines Mall #01-46
- The Star Vista #B1-09
- NEX #B1-41
Can I get more than 1 meal?
One (1) meal per person only, first come first serve, while stock last. Support Meals must be collected in person, and collections on behalf of others are not possible.
If you work for or volunteer with a welfare organisation, please email us at peri-peri@nandos.com.sg to coordinate meals for a community in need.
What can each person get for a Support Meal?
The meal consists of our popular favourite of a ¼ Chicken with a regular side of Mediterranean Rice, and is for takeaway only.
